This panel tests for immune response to 180* foods in various forms including cooked, uncooked, processed and otherwise modified. It is a unique test, in that most food intolerance tests will test you against foods in their raw unprocessed, uncombined form. Even if you are not sensitive to a given food in its raw form, when the same food is cooked, modified, or combined with other ingredients, you may react adversely to it.

It can be nigh on impossible to decipher whether any of the foods you eat are provoking your health symptoms. The most obvious and immediate food allergies tend to stem from IgE antibody reactions, which may induce hives or anaphylactic shock. These are often assessed in conventional medical settings or allergy clinics, but such clinics rarely consider other types of antibodies or indeed different forms, modifications or combinations of various foods.

The antibodies IgG and IgA (measured in Cyrex Array 10) are not so easy to attribute to a specific food sensitivity without advanced laboratory analysis. IgG and IgA antibodies may persist in the body for several years before they are suspected. Consumption of the foods to which these antibodies react may provoke symptoms hours, days or even weeks later. Continued exposure to such foods may fuel and exacerbate chronic health conditions, and potentially autoimmune disease, for years or even decades, without the connection to food sensitivities ever being identified.

Cyrex Array 10 double-tests at every level, to achieve optimal accuracy for your test results. All Cyrex food sensitivity tests screen you for both IgG and IgA antibodies, arguably rendering it the supreme food sensitivity testing service currently available in Europe.

In order to assess your food sensitivities most comprehensively, it is advisable to run the Cyrex Food Sensitivity Triad, which encompasses the 3 Cyrex Food Sensitivity Tests combined: Cyrex Array 3X: Gluten Test, Cyrex Array 4: Food Intolerances Test and Cyrex Array 10: 180 Real Foods. In this way, you cover all the bases and Cyrex often offers a significant discount for running these three food tests together. (To take advantage of the discount, you'll need to select the Cyrex "Cyrex Array 3X, 4 & 10-180 combined" when you Order & Pay for your Lab Tests.)

Array 10 does not overlap with the Cyrex Gluten Test (Array 3) or Cyrex Food Intolerances Test (Array 4), but rather includes a vast variety of foods in the forms that you most commonly eat them. For example Array 4 includes rice flour, used as an ingredient of gluten-free products, which you may eat if trying to avoid wheat & gluten. Conversely, Array 10 includes the more commonly consumed cooked rice. It is not uncommon for people to react to cooked rice, but not rice flour. Or perhaps you react to cooked egg yolk, but show no reactivity to the egg proteins used in either Cyrex Array 4 or various other food-intolerance tests. Array 10 also includes cheese (fermented dairy) and goat's milk, whereas Array 4 tests various fractions of cow's milk (including milk chocolate) and other foods that might be cross-reacting with gluten and aggravating your immune system.

Furthermore, Cyrex Array 10 may indicate that you react to a combination of foods (eg mustard) yet are able to tolerate all the individual mustard ingredients without any reactivity whatsoever and hence this test is more likely to detect those foods that are triggering your immune reactivity.

Please see below for the full list of 180 food antigens that are included in Cyrex Array 10.

From time to time Cyrex offer promotional discounts if you order the Cyrex Food Sensitivity Triad, which combines Array 10 with Array 3 (Gluten Test) and Array 4 (Food Intolerances Test). If you wish to gain a complete picture of foods that are provoking immune reactivity and other symptoms in you, it's probably worthwhile ordering the Cyrex Food Sensitivity Triad.

*Cyrex Array 10-90: 90 Real Foods Test and Array 10-90x: The Other 90 Foods offer an alternative option to test half of the Array 10 foods at a time, and thus stagger the cost. This may prove a cheaper option as, if you identify and eliminate antigenic foods identified in the first 90 Real Foods Test, you may not need to test for the other 90 foods. These foods tested in each of these are listed below. Please note that you have to order Array 10-90 first, before you can order Array 10-90X.

Array 10-90 & 10-90X: Alternative to Array 10 (180) Multiple Food Immune Reactivity Screen

Array 10 (180 Real Foods) may be ordered in 2 separate halves as shown below. Please note that Array 10-90 must be ordered first, and Array 10-90X may only be ordered as an  "Add-On" at a later stage.
